Siobhan Stevenitt
I'm Siobhan Stevenitt, Head of Provision and Designated Safeguarding Lead at Conquer Learning.
Conquer Learning was founded from my passion for alternative education and my belief that every young person deserves the opportunity to thrive in an environment where they feel safe, valued and truly understood. This passion is not only rooted in my professional experience, but also in my own experiences growing up, which have given me a deep understanding of the importance of belonging, positive relationships and having adults who believe in you.
Throughout my career, I have held a variety of roles within education, including working across several alternative provisions, as an Attendance Manager, Parent Engagement Coach, and most recently as a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead. These experiences have given me a strong understanding of the challenges that young people and families can face and have shaped the vision and values behind Conquer Learning.
I created Conquer Learning with one clear aim: to provide a provision that feels like a genuine home from home. A place where relationships come first, where everyone is working together with a shared purpose, and where young people are empowered to achieve their full potential.
I am passionate about delivering a personalised and flexible curriculum that combines academic and vocational opportunities, enabling learners to re-engage with education, prepare for adulthood and build positive, realistic futures. I firmly believe that every young person has unique strengths and that, with the right support, encouragement and a little belief, they can achieve far more than they may ever have imagined.
At Conquer Learning, we are more than just an educational setting; we are a community. I believe that when families, schools and professionals work together, amazing things can happen, and young people can begin to see a future full of possibilities.
Outside of work, I am a proud mum to two wonderful children, and life is usually just as busy! When I'm not at Conquer Learning, you'll often find me spending quality time with my family and our dog, or on the netball court. I love the teamwork, resilience and sense of community that netball brings - values that I strive to embed into everything we do at Conquer Learning.
